How can I book an in person tour of your facility?
In-person and virtual tours of the venue are given by appointment only and are based on availability. During your tour, we take you through our spaces, provide information to guide your next steps, and answer all of your questions. Tours cannot be booked on dates when events are occurring. What are my responsibilities?
We can make your event as turnkey as you'd like, handling as much of the planning and coordination as needed. If you're more of a DIY planner, you're welcome to bring your vision to life and customize the space to suit your style. Whether you prefer a hands-on approach or additional support, we're here to help make your event a success.
What is included with the venue rental?

Can I provide my own alcohol?
Yes. You're welcome to bring in your own beer, wine, and spirits, giving you complete control over your beverage selection and budget.
What about parking?
We provide parking attendants to guide your guests. Valet parking is available for an additional fee and is recommended for larger events.
Do you book multiple events in the same day?
No. The Barn on South Holland hosts only one event per day, giving you exclusive use of the venue and property. This ensures a private, relaxed experience and allows you to enjoy your special day without feeling rushed.
Will there be anyone from your facility there the day of my event?
Yes. A Venue Manager will be on-site throughout your event and will be the first to arrive and the last to leave. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the venue, grounds, and facilities are operating smoothly and maintained to our standards throughout the day and evening. The Venue Manager will also assist with coordinating vendor access, setup, and breakdown logistics. Please note that the Venue Manager is not a replacement for an event planner or day-of coordinator.
What about other staff?
Different events require different levels of staffing. Recommendations will be made based on the event you are having.
Do I need insurance?
Yes. Separate policy for the set-up, day-of-the-event, and break down, as well as a separate liquor policy must be provided in advance of the day. You can get a policy through your Homeowner's Insurance or through the vendor in the link below:

Do you have restroom accommodations?
Yes. We have full restroom facilities inside the barn. Additional exterior restrooms are available on an as-needed basis.
Can I decorate the Barn?
Absolutely! We encourage you to personalize the space and bring your vision to life. The Barn on South Holland welcomes a wide range of décor styles; however, we reserve the right to restrict certain decorations that may cause damage to the venue or require excessive cleanup. If you have questions about specific décor items, our team will be happy to assist you.
Do you offer a ceremony space?
Yes. The Barn on South Holland offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces for weddings. Tent rentals are available for an additional fee. Please contact us for pricing and additional details regarding ceremony accommodations.

*We have a first-come, first-served policy. The first client to place a deposit and submit a signed contract will be able to secure the date. Given the volume of interest in The Barn, we generally have multiple clients interested in most weekends throughout the year. Please note we will not hold dates for any reason unless we have received a deposit and the signed contract.
